Minister for Gozo Clint Camilleri has announced that Ħondoq by Night, one of the most anticipated summer events in Gozo, will be held again for another year, which will be organised for the 14th time this year. Ħondoq by Night will be held on Friday 3rd July from 9pm onwards.
Minister Clint Camilleri said that, “Ħondoq by Night has become an important appointment in the cultural and entertainment calendar in Gozo. The fact that this year we are celebrating the 14th edition is testament to the success and popularity it has achieved over the years. As a ministry we continue to invest in quality activities that not only offer wonderful experiences to families and young people but also continue to strengthen tourism in Gozo throughout the year”.
The event will transform the picturesque bay of Ħondoq ir-Rummien into a spectacular outdoor entertainment scene, where music, lights and the unique atmosphere of the venue will combine to create a memorable night for all those who attend.
This year’s edition will include musical entertainment from Cash & Band and Ryan Spiteri, along with several other artists who will perform a varied repertoire.
Minister Camilleri added that events such as these continue to enliven Gozitan localities and create economic opportunities for local businesses, while continuing to strengthen Gozo’s identity as a vibrant and attractive destination for all ages.
Minister Clint Camilleri concluded by inviting the public to attend this edition of Ħondoq by Night and enjoy a night full of music, entertainment and a unique atmosphere in one of the most beautiful natural places in Gozo.
Ħondoq by Night is being staged thanks to the collaboration between the Ministry for Gozo, the Qala Local Council and Qala Saints.
