Dock Music will return to Cospicua on Sunday 28th June 2026. Set against the historic backdrop of Dock Number 1, this free event will, for another year, offer an evening of live entertainment that will bring together some of Malta’s most popular artists for a spectacular show.

The details were announced by the Minister for Local Government and Public Works Alison Zerafa Civelli and the Chairman of the Cottonera Foundation Joe Mizzi.

Following the success of previous editions, the event will once again create a unique atmosphere at Dock Number 1, a venue that provides an ideal backdrop for an evening of music and entertainment that continues to grow in popularity year after year.

Minister Alison Zerafa Civelli said that Dock Music is a great example of how historic sites like Dock Number 1 can be transformed into cultural and community centers. “Through free cultural events, we are encouraging the public to rediscover and appreciate their local heritage in new contexts. Initiatives like these show how public spaces can become centers of culture and social connection,” said Minister Zerafa Civelli.

She encouraged the public to attend this cultural event and stated that the Government will continue to support the Cottonera Foundation so that it can continue to exploit the potential of Cottonera through quality initiatives and activities.

For his part, the Chairman of the Cottonera Foundation Joe Mizzi said that this festival has become one of the main events in the Cottonera cultural calendar. “It is a great satisfaction for us to see children, young people, parents and grandparents enjoying these experiences together. This shows that Dock Music has become more than a concert; it has become a community celebration that gives new life to our historical heritage,” said Joe Mizzi.

The event will begin at 8.30pm, with a performance by Kurt Calleja, who represented Malta in the Eurovision Song Contest and also won the Mużika Mużika festival. This year’s headliner will be Ira Losco, one of the most established artists on the Maltese music scene.

Several renowned local artists will also join the evening, including Kersten Graham, Jasmine Abela, Diana Dragos and Mike Spiteri. Presenters Geordie Schembri and Matthew Raggio will be keeping the atmosphere lively with a continuous dose of entertainment and interaction with the public.

Dock Music 2026 will be held on Sunday 28th June at Dock Number 1, Cospicua, from 8.30pm onwards. For more information, one can visit the website www.kottonera.mt or send an email to info@kottonera.mt .
