The Nationalist Party has pledged to reopen and renovate every closed police station across Malta and Gozo as part of its proposals on security and law enforcement.

Opposition Leader Alex Borg also promised reforms to the pension system for members of the disciplinary corps and called for stronger investment in advanced technology to combat drug trafficking in Malta.

Alex Borg said the proposals form part of the party’s wider plans to strengthen security, law enforcement, and emergency response services in Malta.

Speaking on cannabis legislation, Borg clarified that a PN government would not repeal the country’s existing cannabis laws.
