US President Donald Trump and Russia’s President Vladimir Putin are due to meet in Alaska next Friday to discuss ending Moscow’s all-out war in Ukraine.
Donald Trump has spoken of a possible transfer of territory as one of the means of obtaining a peace deal, That did not go down well with Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy who said, “The answer to the Ukrainian territorial question already is in the Constitution of Ukraine. No one will deviate from this and no one will be able to. Ukrainians will not gift their land to the occupier.”
