Prime Minister Joseph Muscat received a rapturous welcome when he arrived in Marsa to speak at a political meeting.
The Prime Minster said that from the Marsa power station, to the new cleaner gas powered station at Delimara, the Labour Party on Monday would present a budget for social welfare for everyone.
He said that Malta’s credit rating was at its highest level as the economy flourished and that meant more benefits for workers, more jobs and more opportunities for new jobs.
More than 30,000 small businesses had benefitted from new government incentives and now could save up to 1,000 euros a year in license fees.
