On Tuesday evening, Civil Protection Department firefighters were called to a fire in a residence in Qala, Gozo.
Firefighters brought the fire under control and carried out ventilation procedures to clear smoke from the building.
Two people received assistance from the Gozo General Hospital Emergency Department medical team and were admitted to hospital for further treatment following smoke inhalation.
