Civil Protection firefighters were called to a fire at St George’s Park in St Julian’s on Saturday.
The fire was located in a bedroom on the fourth floor of the building and was successfully brought under control by firefighters.
As a precautionary measure, a full evacuation of the building was carried out to ensure the safety of all occupants.
Two casualties suffering from smoke inhalation were treated by a medical team from the Emergency Department of Mater Dei Hospital before being released.
