Three men were arrested in separate police operations and are expected to appear in court later today in connection with drug trafficking and drug importation.
The first two arrests took place in St Julian’s after officers carried out a controlled delivery of a package that had arrived by post containing 1.5 kg of cannabis resin. At the men’s residence, police found various other substances as well as items associated with drug trafficking.
In a separate investigation, a 21-year-old man was found in possession of 170 tablets suspected to be ecstasy, as well as cocaine and magic mushrooms.
