Two men aged 26 and 21 years have been arrested for drug possession during traffic checks.
The first man was stopped in Gudja, where police found substances suspected to be cannabis, MDMA, ecstasy tablets, pink powder, three mobile phones and cash in his vehicle. Searches later carried out at his residence uncovered more cannabis, drug paraphernalia as well as fake money and firearm.
Meanwhile, the other man was arrested during another traffic check at the Mrieħel Bypass, after police found suspected cannabis, cocaine, pink powder and a grinder in his car.
Both men are expected to be arraigned in court in the coming days.
