Iran’s state media has confirmed that Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has been killed following a major coordinated military strike by the United States and Israel.
U.S. President Donald Trump announced that Khamenei was killed by the strikes and framed it as a strategic blow against Iran’s leadership.
Responding to the US-Israeli airstrikes and the death of Khamenei, Iran’s paramilitary Revolutionary Guard is threatening to launch its “most-intense offensive operation” ever.
