Gozo Minister Clint Camilleri, (L)

The Minister for Gozo and Planning Clint Camilleri announced the ‘Inħobok Valentine’s in Gozo 2026’ programme, which will be held between 31 January and 14 February 2026, with a number of activities spread across various Gozitan localities.

“This programme follows the record success we had during the Christmas holidays, as we promised we will not stop here and are continuing with continuous work and efforts to continue to increase tourism in months that have traditionally been relatively quiet. In this way we are managing to make Gozo the natural choice and an island for every season. This was one of the main objectives of the Gozo Island of Villages strategy and we are showing with facts how we are implementing it in practice,” stated Minister Camilleri.

He went on to explain that the celebrations related to Valentine’s Day in Gozo, which have now become synonymous with this island, will begin with the popular concert Gozo #Inġobbok, this time with a show by The Travellers and will continue with a number of cultural activities related to this time of year. All these elements come together to celebrate love in all its forms.

Minister Camilleri continued by saying that the activities prepared for this year are designed to welcome everyone, couples, families and friends, and invite the public to wander the squares and streets of Gozitan villages. “From concerts to craft markets, from gastronomic experiences to activities in the villages, each event aims to provide fun and leave beautiful memories for everyone who visits us and participates,” added the Minister.

He also recalled the work that has been done over the past few years to strengthen the island’s cultural calendar and to provide a solid and genuine platform for artists. “We are proud that the work we have done is bearing fruit. Our Capital City, Rabat, has been selected in the final list to become the European Capital of Culture for 2031, a step that is a testament to the talent and commitment of our creative community,” said Minister Camilleri.

Minister Clint Camilleri concluded by inviting everyone to continue discovering the beauty, creativity and unique experiences that Gozo has to offer during this special period of the year.
