The Minister for Gozo and Planning Clint Camilleri announced that 57 voluntary organisations will benefit from more than €270,000, after they successfully applied for the ‘Ministry for Gozo and Planning Financial Assistance Scheme for the Voluntary Sector in Gozo’.
Minister Clint Camilleri stated that through this assistance, many organizations are continuing to carry out projects for the good of the community and the members who belong to the same organization.
“The objectives of these schemes are to improve the social, cultural and environmental fabric of Gozo as well as the improvement of sports facilities and the organisation of sports events in Gozo. The schemes were also designed to promote and encourage a culture of volunteering and participation in volunteering activities within Gozitan society, stimulating cooperation and networking both between voluntary organisations themselves, as well as with the Ministry for Gozo and Planning,” said Minister Camilleri.
This scheme is highly sought after by voluntary organisations established in Gozo, so much so that both the number of applicants and the allocated budget continue to increase from year to year.
The results of this scheme, as well as the funds that have been allocated, are available on the site: https://gozo.gov.mt/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/GOZO-VO-SCHEME-2025-RESULTS-final.pdf
