Two first half goals saw Mosta edge past Balzan to continue their winning start to the season.
Balzan were reduced to ten men after just eleven minutes when Jake Portelli was sent off for a dangerous tackle on Prince Afriyie.
Giancarlo Goncalves put Mosta in front after twenty five minutes and Prince Afriyie
made it 2-0 just before the break.
Nikola Djoric gave Balzan hope just after the restart but the handicap of a player short proved to much of a hurdle.
