The Health Authority advises consumers not to eat this product since it may contain excessive levels of Tropane Alkaloids (Atropine and Scopolamine).
Tropane alkaloids are a group of chemical compounds which are responsible for the natural toxic effects of certain plants. The consumption of an excessive amount of these chemicals may have a toxic effect on humans and animals.
Consumers are advised not to consume the implicated product and either dispose of it or return it to the store from which it was purchased.
