A 23-year-old man has been arrested at the Malta International Airport in connection with importation of approximately 1KG of suspected cocaine, with an estimated street value of โฌ125,000.
Following investigations, and through โIntelligence-Led Policingโ, the man was intercepted upon his arrival on a flight from Barcelona. A search revealed a package taped to his stomach containing the suspected drugs.
He is expected to appear in court later today.
