Fire fighters from Paola were called to a grass fire at the Addolorata Cemetery in Paola on Thursday.
The fire was been brought under control and cooling operations carried out to extinguish any remaining hotspots.
A medical team from Mater Dei Hospital’s Emergency Department was on standby at the scene, while officers from the Malta Police Force were also present.
No injuries were reported.
