On Tuesday afternoon police were informed of alleged drug trafficking in the limits of Triq L-Iljun Ħal Qormi. When officers went to the area they noticed a man acting suspiciously.
The 26-year-old man was arrested by the officers after they searched him and his vehicle, where around 100 sachets containing substances suspected synthetic drugs were found, together with an amount of cash.
He is expected to be arraigned in Court shortly.
