Malta Women Under-17 team will face Croatia, Luxembourg, Azerbaijan, as they have been drawn in Group B3 in the WU17 Championship round 1 mini-tournament in Autumn. The draw was held today and has set the groups for the first stage of the 2023/24 edition.
Malta is making a comeback after missing the last two editions of the championship. Their last participation was in the 2019 season, held in Belarus.
Malta plays in League B and will join another 22 teams to play for promotion to League A in six groups. The six group winners and the runners-up with the best record against the teams first and third in their section will be promoted.
