Football’s legend Pele dies aged 82

Pele, described as the greatest player ever, has died at the age of 82 after a battle with cancer.

With Brazil, he won three World Cups, the only player ever to do so. His first came at the age of just 17, he helped Brazil win the 1958 final. More glory followed in 1962 and possibly his greatest game, the 1970 final when he scored the opening goal in Brazil’s 4-1 win over Italy.
