Two men, aged 37 and 25, both of Birkirkara, were arrested after breaking into a shop in Valley Road, Birkirkara, at around 8.45am on Wednesday morning.
When police arrived, there was no sign of the men but a search by officers and police dog unit found one man hiding in a toilet, the other hiding in a ceiling soffit.
