The parish priest of Marsaxlokk is expected be appear in court on Friday morning, facing charges related to misappropriation of funds and money laundering, according to media reports.
In a statement the Archdiocese said that Fr Luke Seguna has been placed on administrative leave. The Archdiocese said it will not comment further on the case.
