Former Liverpool and France manager Gerard Houllier has died aged 73.

Former Liverpool and France manager Gerard Houllier has died aged 73.

The Frenchman was in charge at Anfield from 1998-2004 and led Liverpool to five major trophies, including the FA Cup, League Cup and Uefa Cup treble in 2000-01.

He also managed Aston Villa, Lens, Paris St-Germain and the French national team.
