Coronavirus: EU’s first COVID-19 vaccinations ‘could happen in first quarter of 2021’

The EU’s first vaccinations against COVID-19 could be ready in the first quarter of 2021, according to a European health chief, Euronews reports.

Andrea Ammon, who is the director of the European Center for Disease Control (ECDC), was speaking after the pharmaceutical company Pfizer and BioNTech announced their vaccine had a 90% success rate.
