An investigation into illegal immigration and human trafficking in Marsa, Ħamrun and Paola has resulted in the arrest of 57 people.
Police arrested 17 people in Ħamrun, 35 in Marsa and a further five in Paola.
Those arrested are from South America, Africa and Asia.
The operation was carried out through coordinated efforts between the Immigration Police and the Detention Services.
Authorities said the operation forms part of ongoing work to combat human trafficking and illegal immigration.
