Luxol St Andrews Futsal Club have learned their route in the 2026/27 UEFA Futsal Champions League following the completion of the Main Round draw.
The Maltese champions have been placed in Group 7 of Path B and will travel to Torino, Italy, to compete for a coveted place in the Round of 16. The mini-tournament will take place between 27 October and 1 November 2026, with L84 Torino hosting the group.
Luxol’s confirmed opponents are Italian side L84 Torino, while the remaining two places in the group will be occupied by the winners of Preliminary Round Group B and Group H. Group B features Hjørring Futsal Klub (Denmark), Tirana (Albania), APOEL Nicosia (Cyprus) and Futsal Club Cardiff (Wales), while Group H consists of Mad Max (Finland), FC Clic Chișinău (Moldova), Amigo Northwest (Bulgaria) and Ranger’s FC (Andorra).
With only the group winners progressing to the Round of 16, the stakes could not be higher. Every match will be crucial as Luxol look to keep their European ambitions alive and secure a place among the continent’s leading clubs.
Having represented Malta in European competition on numerous occasions, Luxol will be aiming to make another significant step forward on the continental stage. The club will be looking to combine experience, preparation and determination as they prepare to face high-quality opposition in Torino.
The European journey continues for the Maltese champions, with futsal fans now eagerly awaiting the start of Group 7 action later this year.
