Malta’s Nationalist Party has unveiled plans to transform Marsa into the country’s national cultural district through a €350 million investment.
The proposal includes the development of a national expo centre designed to host major international conferences and trade fairs, positioning Malta more competitively within the global meetings and events industry.
In addition, the party is proposing the construction of a national hall that would serve as the permanent home of the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra. The venue would be purpose-built to accommodate large-scale artistic productions, including opera and ballet performances.
