During Wednesday morning, while police were carrying out surveillance in the limits of St Luke’s Hospital in Pietà, they noticed a man inside a vehicle who raised suspicion that he may have been involved in drug trafficking in the area.
The 25-year-old man was stopped by the police and during a search carried out on him, as well as in his vehicle, several sachets containing substances suspected to be cocaine, heroin and cannabis were found, along with an amount of cash.
