A drone, operated by Frontex and based in Malta, experienced technical difficulties and ended up in the sea, TVMnews is reporting.
In a statement, AFM said the Heron 1 Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) operated by Frontex experienced technical difficulties and was forced to ditch at sea.
Frontex is the European Border and Coast Guard Agency, the EU agency responsible for managing the bloc’s external borders.
