RED WEATHER WARNING – STRONG WINDS
Civil Protection Malta advises that strong to very strong winds are expected to affect the Maltese Islands over the coming hours. (Till tomorrow 6am).
A Red Warning has been issued. Please exercise extreme caution.
For your safety:
Avoid working at heights, including rooftops, balconies, scaffolding, and exposed structures.
Stay away from the shoreline, breakwaters, and coastal areas due to dangerous sea conditions and strong waves.
Secure loose outdoor objects that may be blown away by strong gusts.
Drive carefully, particularly in open and exposed areas where sudden crosswinds may occur.
The public is urged to follow official updates and instructions as the situation develops.
