Wednesday marked an important milestone for PC Johann Vella, who was discharged from hospital as he continues his recovery following the incident in St Julian’s on the 24th July, when he was shot whilst on duty.
Upon his discharge, Johann received a warm welcome from Malta Police Senior Police officials and his colleagues from the Special Intervention Unit and Rapid Intervention Unit.
