Early Wednesday morning, police carried out an operation at a residence in Pietà with the aim of executing a European Arrest Warrant issued by the German authorities.
The man was arrested and during a search conducted at the said residence, the police found 19 cannabis plants and approximately 850 grams of cannabis.
The man appeared in court, where he pleaded not guilty to the charges and was remanded in custody.
