The Maltese Rescue Coordination Centre received a report of a diver in difficulty at Reqqa Point, Gozo, on Wednesday afternoon.
Despite the difficult weather conditions, a Rescue Unit from the Armed Forces of Malta was immediately dispatched to the area where the diver was safely rescued.
The AFM urged the public to act responsibly and exercise caution, particularly when adverse weather conditions are forecast.
