On Sunday evening, police received a report that a motorcycle was allegedly being stolen in Żejtun. Officers immediately went to the scene where they found the motorcycle which appeared to be damaged. Nearby, they found a man matching the suspect’s description, who was subsequently arrested.
In recent weeks, police have arrested at least five other individuals in connection with a series of motorcycle thefts from various localities.
