Minister for Social and Affordable Housing Roderick Galdes, visited the recently completed new social housing project in Siġġiewi, which is providing five modern residential units for five families. The project also includes an underground garage with parking spaces and equipped with a lift, offering easy access to each floor and increasing convenience for residents.
All works were implemented by Housing Projects Solutions Ltd (HPS) in collaboration with the Housing Authority, who took care of the construction, rock excavation, installation and final finishing, ensuring that every step was in line with high standards of quality, safety and accessibility.
With a total investment of around €900,000, the project also includes electrical systems, internal and external finishing, paving, plastering, waterproofing and fixing of apertures, works that ensure a safe residential environment, while providing families with a comfortable and modern residence.
“This project not only offers a safe and decent residence to five families, but is also clear evidence of the Government’s commitment to providing affordable and inclusive housing in Malta,” said Minister Galdes. He emphasised how such projects make a real difference in the daily lives of families and confirmed that the Government will continue to invest in quality residences that support the community and improve the living standards of the Maltese and Gozitan people.
