A 52-year-old man from Xewkija died while working of the roof of a public toilet in Dwejra, Gozo collapsed. Police were called to Dwejra along with a medical team but the man was pronounced dead at the scene. The accident happened at around 9.30 on Thursday morning.

A 75-year-old man and a woman were seriously injured when the roof of their house collapsed. The incident happened in Triq San Pawl, Sliema, at around 4 o'clock this morning. Two people were taken to hospital after a car hit a tree in Zabbar. The accident happened at around 7pm on Wednesday evening in Council of Europe Street, Żabbar.
