A 10-year-old boy is in a critical condition following an accident on Saturday afternoon in Marsalforn Road, Xaghra, Gozo.
Police say that the boy found himself in difficulty while he was in a Jacuzzi.
An ambulance took the boy to the Gozo General Hospital and later he was transferred to Mater Dei Hospital for further medical treatment.
