Three big matches this Sunday as Floriana take on Balzan in a morning game at 11 o’clock at the Victor Tedesco Stadium.
A win for Floriana would lift them level at the top on 16 points, level with Valletta who beat Birkirkara 2-0 on Saturday.
Hamrun take on struggling Hibernians at the Tony Bezzina Stadium, kick-off 3.30pm. This could well be a crucial game for Hibernians who are languishing near the foot of the table with only one win so far this season, that was their opening game against Sliema Wanderers. Hibs have to find form and quickly, even a win today will leave them still in the bottom six.
At 6pm Sliema Wanderers play joint bottom side Gzira Utd. Without a win and only a point to their name, this is not the start to their campaign that Gzira would have wanted. A win for Sliema would lift them into the top half of the table.
