A 20-year-old man was sentenced to 18 months’ effective imprisonment and fined €7,500 after being charged with injuring two police officers during an incident in St Julian’s in the early hours of yesterday morning.
He was arraigned in court today, where he was also charged with attempting to bribe another police officer, breaching the public peace, and being drunk in a public place.
