On Friday afternoon, crews of the Civil Protection Department answered an emergency call involving a paraglider who required medical assistance in Dingli.
Working with the medical team from Mater Dei Hospital the injured paraglider was safely transferred using a CPD rescue unit to the nearest accessible road, where she was subsequently transferred to an ambulance for further medical treatment.
