Two women were arrested in connection with a series of pickpocketing from persons in Valletta.
On Sunday afternoon, while a police officer was on foot patrol in the area of City Gate, he was approached by a person who had just seen the two individuals allegedly stealing items from another woman.
The police officer immediately approached and arrested the two women. They appeared in court on Tuesday morning.
