Valletta came back from a goal down to beat Gzira United 2-1 in the final of the Meridianbet FA Trophy at the National Stadium on Saturday.
Andre gave Gzira the lead just past the half hour mark.
In a five minute goal spree mid-way through the second half, Valletta scored twice. Jake Azzopardi’s header making it 1-1 and minutes later, Moise Emmanuel Mbende fired home from close range to put the Citizens in front, a lead they held on to to clinch the Meridianbet FA Trophy 2026.
