Robert Abela said new forecasts by the European Commission confirm Malta is among Europe’s top-performing economies in growth, employment and fiscal stability.
Addressing a rally in Paola, the Prime Minister said the figures reflect the government’s economic policies under Labour, contrasting Malta’s performance with slower growth and rising unemployment in several larger European economies.
Abela also warned against political uncertainty, criticizing proposals by the opposition Nationalist Party, and said Malta must continue protecting its economic stability and progress.
