A man has been arrested following surveillance in connection with drug trafficking in Birkirkara.
During yesterday’s surveillance, police noticed a person approaching a vehicle in which suspicious contact had been made.
From searches carried out on him, the vehicle and his residence, a number of sachets containing suspected cocaine and cannabis were found, allegedly ready for trafficking, with a street value of around €11,500, as well as being in possession of an amount of cash.
He is expected to appear in court shortly.
