A cruise ended in tragedy when a 72-year-old American man fell from a cruise ship into the Grand Harbour on Wednesday afternoon.
Members of the Civil Protection Department and police officers were called to the harbour.
The tourist was taken to Mater Dei Hospital but was pronounced dead shortly afterwards.
A police investigation in ongoing.
