President George Vella launched The President’s Ball 2024 in aid of The Malta Community Chest Fund, in what he described as one of the last public events before the end of his Presidency and a fitting tribute to the recently inaugurated Grand Master’s Palace after an extensive restoration.
President Vella said the ball will be held on the 2nd of March 2024 and having it organised at The Palace in Valletta will be rather symbolic and remarkable due to the fact this Presidency had to work outside this official seat of the President of the Republic of Malta.
Marchesino Daniel de Petri Testaferrata, Chairman of the Organising Committee of the Ball, said ‘The President’s Ball’ will be the last event in aid of MCCF during this Presidency and a fitting farewell to President Vella and Mrs Vella. He thanked all those who are lending a helping hand in organising this event, including Marsovin for providing premium wine for the event.
The Chairperson of the ball said that tickets are limited on a first-come-first-served basis and can be bought online from www.thepresidentsball.com.
