A four day temporary truce period between Israel and Hamas is due to begin today with a group of hostages expected to be released later today.
The release of hostages and the temporary truce has been brokered by Qatar.
Women and children are believed to be among the first group of hostages to be freed by Hamas while Israel is expected to release up to 150 Palestinian prisoners.
