The first edition of Springtime in Gozo is launched – several events that will continue to attract more visitors to Gozo

The Minister for Gozo Clint Camilleri launched the first edition of Springtime in Gozo, another program of activities in Gozo for the spring time.

Minister Camilleri said that with a detailed itinerary of events, the Ministry for Gozo, through the Directorate of Cultural Heritage, will once again deliver a program that will meet the expectations of many. He added that, “In the spring, Gozo will start to come alive again, where the campaign will be at its best and the work within the Ministry for Gozo will be intensifying to prepare for the important season of summer.”

The Directorate for Cultural Heritage within the Ministry for Gozo has prepared many activities which include among others the classical opera La Traviata, the annual fireworks festival, the wine festival organized in the village of ‘ Sannat, and the spring fair which is organized every year in the gardens of Villa Rundle and which has now become a well sought after event.

Minister Camilleri said that for the next six weeks, both the residents of Gozo and those visiting the island, will have a wide range of activities. He concluded by encouraging everyone to attend these activities while reminding that a busy cultural calendar is already being prepared for the summer months.
