With an average of 2.2kgs per angler being caught today, it was the first KSFA Singles League win for Angelo Cutrona and it was done in great style!
Angelo came in first with a whopping 3.7 Kgs of fish at the St George’s Marina, St Julians. He was followed by the present league leader Fortune Calafato who placed second with another great weight of 3.4kg. James Gilson placed third with a good catch
of 2.90 Kg.
As the weights show it was bonanza fishing all along, with Alex Genovese also landing
the biggest fish, a mullet of 0.521 kg. All fish caught were released after weighing.
All eyes now on the final Singles Match, with Fortune Calafato having a lead of over 2 kilo.
However next KSFA match will be on the 16th October, this being the final doubles match of the season. This will be followed by the much awaited 3 Day tournament being held between the 28th & 30th October.
