The first phase of the Għajnsielem Learning Hub in Gozo will be completed

With an investment of more than half a million euros, Aġenzija Sapport is carrying out a restructuring and beautification project at Għajnsielem Learning Hub, in Gozo. During an official visit, the Minister for Inclusion, Volunteering and Consumer Rights Julia Farrugia Portelli followed the progress of this project which has reached the end of its first phase.

This project, which is spread over three years, is intended to further increase the space from which Aġenzija Sapport and other entities deliver services in a modern and accessible environment. The first phase of the project included beautification and maintenance work of the Day Center and the offices of Aġenzija Sapport in Gozo, from where the agency delivers services and schemes to Gozitan clients. ‘Gozo itself.

The next two phases include landscaping and restructuring of various offices for the use of other entities, including the Commission on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, MITA and Jobsplus. In addition, work will be carried out on multi-sensory rooms as well as rooms for delivering independent living sessions, work on rooms for educational sessions and work on other facilities for people with disabilities who attend services during the day. a day in this house.
