Earlier today, at around half past ten, the Police were informed that a corpse had seen in the sea near Filfla.
District Police immediately requested the assistance of the Armed Forces of Malta who in turn went to the scene, lifted the corpse from the sea and took it to the Maritime Base at Straw Beach.
The District Police are continuing with their investigations to identify the corpse.
